A discussion-based activity where human resources with specific roles and
responsibilities in a bank meet in a forum to discuss their respective roles during
emergency situations and the response taken to specific emergency situations.
In its implementation, there is a facilitator who guides the participants through a
discussion designed to meet predetermined objectives.
Objectives of a Tabletop Exercise
- Validate the incident response and recovery processes of the bank.
- Identify weaknesses in the bank’s incident response and recovery processes.
- Ensure that all team members can collaborate effectively during an incident.
